Spotlight on Congregations
What have The Episcopal Church and the diocesan office done for you lately? Last month,
all diocesan congregations received information about savings to be gained by securing
proper state tax exemption certification. (Thank you, Jackie Robinson at Trinity,
Fort Worth!) In addition, earlier this year the eight diocesan congregations with access
to their church buildings were provided (at no cost to the congregations or the diocese)
a detailed risk assessment. That analysis targeted preventative action congregations can
take to keep their congregations safer. (Thank you, Church Insurance Corporation!)
