United Campus Ministries to restart at Midwestern State University

Millie Gore, in cooperation with area Episcopal, ELCA Lutheran, Presbyterian, Christian (Disciples of Christ), and Methodist churches, has succeeded in getting United Campus Ministries rechartered at Midwestern State University, where she is a professor. The program will start up in January.

Please read their new brochure to learn more about the wonderful things planned, including Sunday Mass (paid for by All Saints-Wichita Falls worshipping at The Arc), a Sunday evening Holden worship service presided over by an ELCA Lutheran pastor, and ten other wonderful and innovative opportunities for worship, study, service, and fellowship. You are encouraged to share this brochure - distribute it as widely as possible throughout the diocese.

Says Millie, "We learned at Convention that a high percentage of priests come out of strong campus organizations; please help me make this organization strong; I just know there’s a nascent priest out there on campus whom we must nurture and birth, and I want to be in the nave wearing a purple dress and a red hat when she/he becomes ordained!"
