A Day-by-Day Online Advent Calendar
New York, November 17, 2009 – Advent is a season of expectation and hope as Christians around the globe anticipate the celebration of Jesus’ birth. In that spirit, Trinity Wall Street has created an online daily Advent calendar that reveals a new story of hope each day based on activities and stories from the Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion. Expect Hope: Creating the Kingdom of God uses music, video, photography, scripture, and more to tell the stories of how dioceses and parishes are bringing hope to local communities and around the world. Story highlights include:
- A day in the life of a member of the Episcopal Urban Intern Program in Los Angeles.
- The story of the community health program Clínica Esperanza y Caridad, a health ministry of la Iglesia Episcopal Dominicana.
