Spring Concert at All Saints' - Ft. Worth

On Friday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. the choirs of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Fort Worth and Grace First Presbyterian, Weatherford, will combine for a spring concert of works by Franz Joseph Haydn and Johann Sebastian Bach.

The concert will take place in the main sanctuary at All Saints', located at 5001 Crestline Road in Fort Worth. Admission is free and all are welcome.

The program for the concert includes Haydn's Te Deum in C and the first movement of the triumphant "Ascension Oratorio" by Bach. These choral works will be accompanied by a 13-member chamber orchestra consisting of trumpets, drums, flutes, oboes and strings.

The orchestra will also play Bach's Third Orchestral Suite, containing the famous Air on the G-string. Marialice Parish, organist and choirmaster of Grace First Presbyterian will round out the program with a performance of Haydn's C-Major Organ Concerto.
