3/28/2010 - Palm Sunday at St. Alban's

St. Alban's, worshipping in Theater Arlington, observed Palm Sunday with a colorful procession down Main Street to a small urban park and then back to the theater, incense wafting on the wind and palms waving in the air. The procession began after a blessing of the palms by the Rev. Melanie Wright. The Palm Sunday readings were shared among the congregation, adding to the drama inherent in the story that sets the tone for Holy Week. We have Katie Sherrod to thank for these photographs.
