Holy Week - 2010

These photos offer a glimpse of some of the celebrations that took place during Holy Week around our diocese. Christ the King conducted a dramatic Stations of the Cross on Good Friday and celebrated the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday. St. Luke's in Stephenville Stephenville had its first "Peep-a-palooza" on Saturday, April 3. The children and youth, ages 4 - 16, gathered to make 50 Easter arrangements using marshmallow "Peeps" to take to shut-in parishioners, patients at the local hospital, the nurses stations and nursing homes. The Rev. Cal Girvin, interim priest, blessed the sticky happenings. St. Luke's hopes to make this an annual event. Photographer credits and parish names are included with the individual photographs.
