Chrismal Mass - 4/19/11

Bishop Wallis Ohl celebrated and preached at the annual mass of collegiality at St. Christopher Episcopal Church on Tuesday, April 19. The bishop's sermon is here. The bishop, deacon and priests all reaffirmed their ordination vows, following which the bishop anointed everyone present - laypeople, deacons, and priests. Then the bishop was anointed by the Rev. Bill Stanford. The bishop also consecrated the Oil of Chrism and the Oil of Anointing. A luncheon was served in the parish hall following the service. Katie Sherrod took these photographs.
