Bishop's visit to Christ the King, 06/14/09

On Sunday June 14, 81 people were present at Christ the King to see Bishop Gulick baptize a 21-month-old child and an adult; confirm two adults, and receive one adult. The bishop also blessed their new altar and chalices and patens. A reception followed the service. It was a joyous day.

Christ the King is worshipping at St. Giles Lutheran Church on Chapin Road, and they have made the space their own. These fabulous photos of the day were taken by Lefty Brandon and Katie Sherrod.
